Rust Coul • True Detective

* The series "True Detective" (namely 1 season) — is certainly a gem of this genre. After watching it once, I want to watch it again and again! Because for me personally, everything in it is perfect: magnificent shooting, camera work, acting, a non-trivial plot, masterfully sustained atmosphere, even a videoclip/soundtrack for the opening credits. The script and visualization are worked out to the smallest details — from the general idea to gestures, looks and facial expressions. This series excites, intrigues and keeps in suspense until the last episode. And of course, makes empathize.

There are two main characters here, but for me, "True Detective" — is first of all Rustin Cole (in brilliant performed by Matthew McConaughey) He — broken, lonely, with noticeable signs of psychopathy, but very clever, discerning and fanatical to his work man with a subtle attitude and a phenomenal instinct. Each statement by Rust is a sharp and well-aimed quote, that will make you think. And his mysterious personality causes admiration, pity, sympathy and anxiety at the same time. And of course I want to highlight visual image, manner and intonation speech of this character (again, a huge merit of McConaughey).

Rust Cole is one of the most serious, deep and sensual serial characters ever to hook me to soul. And I dedicate this conceptual art to him.
